Belgians abroad: Dries Mertens scorer against Legia, Yorbe Vertessen injured

Legia Warsaw lost largely at home to Napoli (1-4) in a match refereed by Lawrence Visser on Thursday on Matchday 4 of the Europa League football group stage. Dries Mertens started the game on the bench. Legia took the lead after 10 minutes thanks to a goal from Emreli. Dessers gives Feyenoord the lucky win at Union Berlin

Feyenoord came to win on the lawn of Union Berlin 1-2, in Group E of the Conference League football on Thursday evening. Cyriel Dessers (72nd) scored the decisive goal with a lucky shot in the middle of the goal. The Germans finished the match with nine players after the red cards of Trimmel and Teuchert. Feyenoord leads the group with 10 points after four days. Union Berlin is last with three points. In Group G, Vitesse Arnhem visited Tottenham, now coached by Antonio Conte. Lois Openda started on the bench for the Dutch, but came on at the break in place of Ghobo. The Spurs won 3-2 this hotly contested game in which no less than three players were blown up. Son Heung-Min (15th) and Lucas (22nd) scored for Tottenham. Rasmussen scored an own goal (28th) for Londoners and then scored for Vitesse (32nd), as did Bero (39th). Tottenham are second in their group with 7 points, Vitesse third with 6 units. Rennes, still deprived of Jérémy Doku injured in the knee, is leader with 10 points after his success over Mura 1-0.

In the Europa League, Leicester hosted Spartak Moscow in Group C. The game ended in a 1-1 draw. Timothy Castagne and Youri Tielemans started for the Foxes, while Maximiliano Caufriez was on the pitch for the Russians. Moses gave the advantage to Spartak (51st), after which Amartey equalized (58th). Vardy missed the opportunity to bring the score to 2-1 but missed his penalty (75th). Tielemans received a yellow card for a late tackle (67th). After four days of competition, Leicester are third in their group with 5 points. Spartak is last with 4 points. Naples is leader (7) ahead of Legia Warsaw (6).
